This week on Nonsense in the Chaos, I’m sitting down with my adventure buddy, Edd Stone. We spend a lot of our working lives together, whether that’s as Astro Guides at the Observatory peering out into the vastness of space, or with Adventure Sark, taking people scrambling over rocks, out onto the sea in kayaks, dangling off cliffs coasteering, or trying their hand at archery and shooting.
Edd is one of those people who somehow manages to be both completely unassuming and quietly extraordinary. A bit of an enigma, a man of few words at times, and yet someone who seems endlessly capable. The sort of person who’ll casually do something wildly impressive and then shrug as though it was nothing much at all.
I’m really glad to have him as a friend and partner in crime for all things adventurous on this little island of ours, so I thought it was about time I dragged him into the chaos for a proper chat. We talk adventure, life, stories from the island, and some of the things that make Edd, well… Edd.
